What is the benefit that you have obtained from participating in Youth Civics Camps Program of the Post Elections Democracy Project?
"The program offered me the chance to really learn about democracy development in Iraq and learn about the vital role governmental and non-governmental actors in the democracy process. Additionally, this program added to my experience in civic activism for human rights and taught me how to use social and conventional media to support the work.
The Camps represented one of the best trainings I’ve ever participated in during my last 6 years of youth activity. The training course positively impacted me, the exchange of experiences between youth, the coexistence between youth from different provinces and backgrounds was a fantastic experience .
I was also selected to participate in the PEDP’s fellowships, assisting a civic organization in Baghdad. I learned a great deal about civic activism during this experience and particularly about collecting data and designed a database for the organization ."
