Children Helping Children!
IF assists American Girl Scouts in Helping Iraqis in Need

An Iraq Foundation team distributed 20 blankets to Dina Institute for handicapped Children in Baghdad, Iraq on October 27th 2005. The Institute’s Director was very happy to receive this donation and asked for more donations in blankets, clothes and food for the children. The Institute, like many of Iraq ’s children shelters and orphanages, is currently not receiving any government support and sustains its activities entirely from donations and charity organizations in Iraq and abroad.

These blankets were donated by American Girl Scout teams led by Caitlin Lubatty of Cornelius, North Carolina who brought 70 hand-made blankets as a gift from American children to Iraqi children. Our deep thanks go to her and to the young hands that created these beautiful gifts.

بتاريخ 27 / 10 /2005 قام فريق من المعهد العراقي بزيارة معهد دينا للمعوقين الايوائي , وهو معهد يؤدي خدماتة الى الاطفال المعوقين من الايتام والذين فقدوا ذويهم أثناء الحرب . لتوزيع المساعدات من البطانيات التي أهداها أطفال الولايات المتحدة الى أطفال العراق. حيث تم توزيع عشرين بطانية المتبقية عليهم وقد فرح الاطفال بها وأبدت السيدة مديرة المعهد سعادتها وأثنت على مبادرة المعهد العراقي وطليت امكانية تزويدها بمساعدات اخرى من ملابس وأغطية وغذاء لعدم وجود جهة حكومية تدعمها وأن جميع متطلبات المعهد معتمدة على المساعدات المقدمة من الجهات الخيرية . وارفق طيا الصور الخاصة بالتوزي
