Helping Iraqi Children
...every step of the way
In 2005, the Iraq Foundation launched a humanitarian campaign to assist organizations that benefit orphaned, disabled, and handicapped children in Iraq. Since that time, the Foundation has hosted two charity fundraisers in Washington, DC to raise funds and highlight the plight of Iraq children in need. One hundred percent of the funds raised go to homes and organizations that provide for handicapped, disabled, and orphaned children in need.

The first event, which was held on January 27, 2006 , benefited over 200 children! The Iraq Foundation provided six children’s charities with food, educational resources, refrigerators, stoves, six water tanks and pumps, four heaters, five air conditioners, three wheelchairs, 20 desks, two commodes, several medical stretchers, 50 beds, 100 pillows, 75 mattresses, 115 blankets, and other basic necessities.
Our second event, which was held on March 23, 2007 , raised even more funds and we are currently in the process of identifying worthy charitable organizations to benefit even more children!
How IF Helps
The Iraq Foundation works directly with institutions on the ground in Iraq that care for orphaned, disabled, and handicapped children, guaranteeing that one hundred percent of the proceeds collected go to the organizations with the greatest need.
