Dear Friends,
In this issue, we would like to highlight
some of the Iraq Foundation's (IF) recent
activities. During May, IF
has been working hard to promote its mission
throughout Iraq. As part of last March's
fundraising event, we have already donated to
two charities in Baghdad that care for
orphaned children. IF's executive
director Rend Al-Rahim made several media
appearances to promote our mission. IF staff
is also exploring ways to benefit Iraqi
refugees in the region and met with several
human rights and civil society organizations
while traveling in Northern Iraq. In this
reporting period, the Human Rights Defenders
Network published its third newsletter on the
human rights situation in Iraq.
As always, should you have any questions
about our activities, please do not hesitate
to contact us.
Sincerely,
Joseph Sandor Communication Officer Iraq Foundation
