Success Story: EIWT Widows Awarded Micro Grants

IF is pleased to report that three widows from the Maysan province were recently awarded grants from an international organization to start small businesses! Here's some photos and information about the businesses the awardees started:

• The first awardee, who supports a family of three, was able to get a grant to open her small grocery store out of her house
• The second awardee, who supports a family of five, was able to get a grant and she is selling house appliances
• The third awardee, who also supports a family of five, was able to get a grant and she is selling carpets and electrical appliances
