IF Holds Strategy Session for Anti-Corruption and Transparency

The Iraq Foundation (IF), in partnership with the Iraqi Commission of Public Integrity (CPI). the Lebanese Transparency Association (LTA), and Transparency International (TI) held a three day Strategy Session in Amman, Jordan from July 15 to July 17. The session was aimed at helping identify CPI's needs and developing the agency's capacity to implement anti-corruption laws and improving transparency and accountability through bringing it together with regional organizations working on corruption in the Middle East. The strategy session's focus was also on exchange information and sharing of knowledge on anti-corruption initiatives. After a series of discussions and meetings held over a period of three days, IF, CPI, and LTA came up with a number of recommendations that could help CPI better combat corruption in Iraq and improve transparency in the country.
